History

IOK Technology’s principals have been a part of a long and proud history of service to citizens since 1940. Ted Brown, the original founder and owner, started the business as a precision machining and tool making shop. Located in Rising Sun, Indiana, on the Ohio River, the company started operations in a plant that played a prominent part in the United States defense industry. IOK Technology continues on this legacy, holding on to the defining elements that have been a staple of the company throughout these years.

Benny Garland and his wife Jane have extensive experience in the industries we serve. Many years of dedication to the craft have gone into making our company what it is today, and the company’s collective forward-thinking keeps us moving in a positive direction.

We have extensive contacts in the aerospace, medical, defense, energy, mining, automotive, and packaging industries. Our clients are located all over the United States as well as internationally in nations like Germany and Japan.
